Property valuation for a UAE mortgage

The loan-to-value ratio is calculated on the appraised value of the property, not on the price you agreed (Art. 1). If the valuation comes in below the price, the gap is paid from your own funds.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if the valuation is lower than the price?

The loan is based on the appraised value, so you pay the difference in cash on top of the normal down payment.
